funny how this is on the Notre Dame page on the ESPN website, not USF's.

Did you even read the article?  The entire thing is about why he left ND and how he felt watching NDs run to the BCS last year.  Almost zero mention of USF.

There hasn't been anything to mention so far. There are 449 players in the country with more sacks than Lynch.

Talk about an article that says a whole lot of nothing.  What was the point?

he is big and fast with long arms...we get it.

but he jumps off sides way too much.  he is a pro prospect as an OLB in a 3-4 defense.  not as a D-lineman.

This kid has a wealth of potential. It's not about what he's doing right now that have pro scout's interests. I can name at least a half dozen kids who played at USF that were marginal performers and are now playing in the league.

Thank God your insight is so astute.

Why do I care what his potential is for the NFL? This is the USF athletics board, not the Call Me in 5 Years board. I care about Aaron Lynch while he's wearing a Bulls uniform and not sacking QBs.

We need him to be a beast for us on this level... lets hope he has a strong 2nd half of the season!

ND is big-time football.

USF is small-time football.
