Didn't he have grade issues that would have prevented from playing anyways

That was the unofficial talk. I think I recall he basically gave up once the season was over he didn't want to do the school thing.

But that was rumor, from a lot of different places, but still rumor as far as I know.

He had no intention of anything but one and done. Also didn't help draft stock that he had that attitude.

It was said that he was dead set on one and done before the season even started. He could have had the worst football season of his life and he was still trying to go pro afterwards.
