Who is going to Bulls Fest, aka the Athletics Auction?

I've only made it once. If you haven't been, you should definitely give it a try.

Some of my fondest Bull memories resulted from attending the auction in 2007.

I bid and won a fully furnished suite to the 07 USF/WVU game. I picked up Bulls memorabilia and game worn as well as autographed Chipper Jones photo and baseball for my son. Met Stan Heath and spoke to JR Reid among others. Met some great Bulls fans. And of course, Jim Leavitt gave an incredibly motivating speech to get fans ready for the Fall. I am sure Wille Taggart is ready to do the same.

Sat next to Brad in 07 and he got me hooked on this board. Unfortunately I will miss it this year for the first time since 2007. Great event for anyone who can go. Nonstop food and adult beverages included.

It is a blast. I have purchased many a great Bull related item at this event. If you haven't been, you should go at least once!

I went as a volunteer every year when I worked for Athletics .... a really great night, there are some bargains (and some stuff that goes for big money) ... open bar, very nice dinner, a chance to rub elbows all the coaches (who are out of season).

 

I know not everyone has the money sitting around to go, but events like this should be a stop for all those who want to be considered boosters. If not every year, at least every once in a while. This is the single biggest booster event of the year for USF Athletics.
