How big is the impact of signing a transfer QB this summer?

A great coach can coach "around" weaknesses. I believe that we fair quite well this season and that we will make a bowl. If the other team doesn't score, we won't lose.

Sigh.

We wish QB was the only position we have a problem with. :GoBulls:

I don't think we really have many more problems on the offensive side. I feel like the incoming freshies will be licking their chops during summer camp. If Pierre or Shaw can't contribute, Taggart did personally sign our two backs. I feel like he endorsed their ability to run by recruiting them, though we only had so many options left.

I am more concerned about the defense.  If you think about all of the "great wins" people like to bring up from the past, it was usually the defense which won the games.

I'm perhaps a little too confident in the defense.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
