I had a 10 y.o. girl and 6 y.o. boy. We are also going to Wet N Wild, then down to Longboat Key for a few days.

If you are staying at one of the U hotels, then you will get priority access for most rides. I wouldn't recommend staying at the Nickelodeon hotel (very dirty in my opinion). You'll have fun. I'm not sure I can think of any must do's in Orlando if you're going to be at the parks. There are a number of good restaurants in city walk in front of the parks. If you want to sit down and eat some decent food instead of grabbing park food, its not a bad idea. I'd make a reservation before hand, though. Blueman group is fun, but stupid expensive. Get there at or near the opening time. Head directly to the farthest point from the entrance and move around the park counter clockwise. The majority of people will move right from the entrance and move around the park counter clockwise. Some people will go left at the entrance and move clockwise. Very, very few go to the back of the park. Go straight to the back and counter clockwise will move you through the park before and after the largest wave of people, ensuring shorter lines and an overall more enjoyable experience.

Spiderman and Harry Potter are fantastic, and great for the whole family. Are you doing Islands of Adventure, or Studios, or both?

There are no lucky dry seats.

Stay at the resort hotels or buy express passes. Get an app that shows ride wait times and plan accordingly. Have fun, the place is awesonme! We're going in May!
