This weekend the Bulls are playing in the NFCA Classic. This is a rather large tournament with 14 teams participating with big time softball schools participating (Hofsta, Michigan, Louisiana-Lafayette). This tournament takes place across the bridge at the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater, Florida. If you have time this weekend and would like to see some great softball an all tournament pass is just $25.

The Bulls are in action today twice. The first game is at 3:30pm against Southern Illinois, Followed by a huge game against Louisiana-Lafayette at 6:00pm.

Not looking good for the home team. Sara's having an off-day perhaps?

 

Top of the 4th tied 1-1, but the Salukis already have 5 hits. Top-of-the-order, no outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd.

 

C'mon defense!!!

Bulls tie it up in the bottom of the 4th. It is 2-2. Sam Greiner in to pitch.

I think Ken wanted to use Lindsey agains ULL tonight from the beginning hence why he started Sara in Game 1.

Lost the first game 5-4

 

Had a nice rally going in the bottom of the 7th, but too little, too late.

 

I don't see any links for a late game, has it been cancelled?

Softball team is awful !!!!!!!!!!!!! Cannot hit the ball.  They need a new batting coach. Don't know if they can recover.

Maybe they will get better when the temperature heats up, but they just stink , minus two pitchers..Nevins and richardson,

Nevins was unhittable last year.  Sophomore slump maybe?  Assuming she is a soph.
