UCF is in it due to Pete DiNovo; the QB UCF landed last year that Skippy spurned from East Lake.

That would be a little bit of a black mark on this recruiting season, to lose Artavis Scott to UCF.

I'm hoping he goes to Clemson.

with tags being the recruiter he is and were getting all of these bay area kids committing and interested in us how is that UCF has the upper hand on this kid.  I don't buy that DiNovo stuff.  We have Litton, his current QB, and we got a commit from his teammate at east lake Devin Abraham.  This is crazy.

Maybe you mean his Team Tampa teammate Litton, sure.. But Litton is QB for Wharton HS, not East Lake. Pete DiNovo was his QB at East Lake for the past couple of years, along with Team Tampa last year. So I can certainly buy into the DiNovo stuff, maybe he had a good relationship with him as QB/WR.

Having said that, I think that is why he is throwing UCF out there. I don't necessarily think he will end up there though.

I obviously meant his team Tampa QB that's why I made a point of saying devin Abraham is his east lake teammate

That being said i do t think he'll end up at UCF. I hope not at least

I'll take a stab at it. Maybe Scott just likes the UCF campus, coaches, teammates and feels good about the school? Some kids want to get away as far as possible. Some kids want to stay home. Some kids want to stay in FL, but close enough to home so their friends and family are close by. It's not like this is some mystery. The guy just doesn't want to be a Bull. Moving on...

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
