Using a castnet is a lot better than using a spear. Rather catch a bunch than miss one by one.

Unless your net gets so heavy that the rope breaks hauling it in - then you lose the fish AND the net, LOL

Well you can always spear one fish who is too big to catch, he get's away and you've lost all you fish as well. How long can we keep this fish thing going? Still waiting for the whole "give a man a fish........"

There are no fish that are too big, only men who are too small...

If you truly think that you'll have to find a copy of "the Last of the Bule Water Hunters" by Carlos Eyles. I met the son of one of the "Hunters" named Al Schimmerhorn, Jr in CA. His dad had been killed by a Great White while freediving in bluewater off CA coast. Pretty sure he thought the that the "fish was too big".

If he was big enough, the shark wouldn't have dared to eat him.

Would you try to eat a whole roasted pig with a single bite?

You should know better than to take me seriously by now :D

I wasn't taking you seriously. You should know me well enough to know that I am wise enough to know when you are playing(almost always). I just needed a bigger fish story to try and one up you.

For those who have never caught a 170 lb halibut...You hit him over the head with a basball bat before you bringing him on board..If he is not stunned he'll wreck the BILGE...

I like big FISH just make sure he is ready to bring on board.

Well. JTrue, kinda reminds me of Dory. Does that count as a fish story?

How so? Did she also hand you your ass in an argument in another thread, but rather than take it like a man, you started trying to talk **** about her in some other thread she wasn't even participating in? Is that how we're similar?
