I know this is kinda old news... but this seems to be firming things up for what will be USF's best rivalry.

UCF ON TAP: C-USA commissioner Britton Banowsky said initial indications are that USF's required C-USA football opponent will be UCF.

As part of USF's exit agreement from C-USA, the Bulls must play one C-USA team a year for five years as agreed upon by the C-USA and Big East commissioners.

USF and UCF already are scheduled to play the next two seasons with an option for the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

Banowsky said he hoped to finalize the C-USA opponents for the C-USA teams leaving the league in the next few weeks. Banowsky said TV officials have indicated they are interested in televising future USF-UCF contests.

Wow......where are all those naysayers who told me I was crazy a couple of years ago when I predicted that this game would certainly draw televsison interest.

My only fear is that since Boobkowsky is involved USF & UCF may have to pay Sunshine or Fox  to televise the game, and this is a best case scenario.
