David Letterman is their most famous alum and they have a history of really bad football. I believe Ball State still holds the record for longest losing streak in college football.

This is the most embarrassing loss in the team's history, in my opinion. At least Army was a conference game. Oregon was bad, because it was such an ass-whooping, so maybe this is No. 2. No excuse for this.

Holtz isn't going anywhere, so calling for him to be fired is still stupid and pointless. But the future sure looks bleak right now. I was willing to forgive last year - every team has a bad year once in a while. But the trend with USF football today is very clearly pointing downward, and I'm not sure Holtz has the skills and the attitude to change it.
