Wow, what a joke that was tonight.

Fire Skip Holtz, he is obviously over matched and was a poor hire...

We hired the wrong Pirate. We could have had Mike Leach (regardless of our situation with Leavitt). Terrible.

It's really amazing. During the whole Nevada game until there was about 5 minutes left, you couldn't shut up. You couldn't stop telling us how terrible the team is. Then the comeback starts, and you are silent. The aftermath of perhaps the most impressive, memorable comeback in team history, and you aren't interested in discussing it. Now the team loses again, and here you are. Why? Why do you only bother discussing USF when they lose? Is the team winning that unbearable to you that you can't stand to be around when people are enjoying it?

I would honestly not call the Nevada win the greatest comeback ever, but an extremely lucky one against a team we should have beaten handily if properly prepared.....

Skip showed again tonight why he was a poor hire and should be fired...Skip Holtz is pathetic!

Though I do have to give myself some credit, I correctly predicted Cpa_bull's (obvious) return:

This Nevada game has allowed me to witness a phenomenon I've never seen before. Most times the team loses, plenty of people stop visiting this board for several reasons: Obviously a loss lessens excitement surrounding the team, negativity picks up around here and it gets kind of annoying to read over and over, etc.

But with this Nevada win, it seems the opposite has happened: Posters such as Cpa_bull here spent so much of the game racing to declare USF to suck in the loudest, most obnoxious way possible - starting threads like this, spamming the chat room with constant whining and negativity - and since the team turned it around and pulled out an amazing victory, Cpa has been nowhere to be seen. It's like this poster lives for the negativity and has to leave the board for a while to avoid the positive thoughts and excitement. It is really quite sad.

Unfortunately, I have no doubt Cpa_bull will show back up as soon as the team loses - and the team will lose, they are not going undefeated. But it's amazing that there are people who only want to talk about the team when they are able to ***** and cry and moan and whine. What's the point?

You're not answering the question. Why couldn't you shut up during the game, but were nowhere to be found afterward until the team lost?

Gobulls83, look at the 10 other threads from others saying Holtz is pathetic...

Remember we were 5-7 last year, 1-6 in Big East...

We are extremely fortunate we are not 1-2 at this point!

Skip is pathetic...

Again, let's try answering the question.

"I only enjoy discussing USF football when the team is losing because..."

"I shout and whine and cry when the team is losing to draw attention to myself, but don't bother to discuss things when the team wins because..."

Because the win was a mirage. Tonight validates what we all know. Why crow about something you know is not sustainable??

Welcome to college football. Congrats on watching your first game ever!
