he didn't really have time today

i'm blown away that we didn't come remotely close to a sack with such a vaunted DL

That's probably my biggest beef with the game action as well. Nova had all day to pick us apart. It was the perfect storm: no pass rush + wide open middle, not to mention hearing the size advantage their receivers had on our DBs.

RU was doing some crazy holding though without USF getting any calls. It was really bad. Refs also gave RU an interception that bounced on the ground. ...Thursday nite curse aided by subpar coaching and QB play. BJ is not as good as Grothe or even Blackwell.
