CB/PR 6th-Sr Mason Robinson (5-10, 185lbs)

Any first rounders? Greene maybe?

I don't think so... Unless Logan Ryan has a great season and decides to declare early...

My guesstimate on guys drafted would be this (on the condition that they still have good seasons this year and are injury free come draft/FA time):

Note: the ones in red are locks to getting drafted as of now (meaning a 95% shot of getting drafted). The others still have to upgrade their play a little (they are on the cusp)...

Offense

WR Sr Mark Harrison (6-3, 230lbs) [Drafted 6th rd or 7th rd/FA] - Possession receiver, 4.5 speed

WR rSr Timothy Wright (6-4, 220lbs) [Drafted 6th rd or 7th rd/FA] - Possession receiver, 4.5 speed

TE rSr D.C. Jefferson (6-6, 250lbs) [Drafted 4th or 5th rd] - great blocking TE, Okay hands

RT rSr R.J. Dill (6-7, 310lbs) [Drafted 4th or 5th rd] - great run and pass blocker, was projected to go in 6th or 7th rds last yr

Defense

3T-DT rSr Scott Vallone (6-3, 275lbs) [Drafted 3rd rd] - warrants constant double teams, great technique, 40 starts in BE, great push of the LOS

RE Sr Ka'Lial Glaud (6-2, 230lbs) [Drafted 6th rd or 7th rd/FA] - Pass rushing specialists

RE rSr Marvin Booker (6-2, 240lbs) [Drafted 6th rd or 7th rd/FA] - Pass rushing specialists

MLB Sr Steve Beauharnais (6-2, 230lbs) [Drafted 2nd or 3rd rd] - 1 of the best MLBs in the country

WLB rSr Khaseem Greene (6-1, 230lbs) [Drafted 2nd or 3rd rd] - 1 of the best WLBs in the country

CB rJr Logan Ryan (6-0, 190lbs) [Drafted 1st or 2nd rd if he declares early] - 1 of the best lockdown corners in the country

CB rSr Brandon Jones (6-1, 185lbs) [Drafted 4th or 5th rd] - solid lockdown corner

CB rSr Marcus Cooper (6-2, 190lbs) [Drafted 4th or 5th rd] - solid lockdown corner

FS Sr Duron Harmon (6-1, 200lbs) [Drafted 2nd or 3rd rd] - 1 of the best safeties in the country

I think Lamar should get picked up. A good offensive mind would love him. He's really got a weak Darren Sproles type ability. If he has a kick return or two it would boost him.

There will be at least four, up to possibly 7-9 guys from this team in camps next year. Remember guys like AJ love and Kevin Gidrey got into camps.

BJ = CFL or arena football at best. How's Pat White doing in the NFL (rhetorical question).

I agree, as a QB. But in his defense, his arm is much better. His chance of a position switch is also because he's much more solidly built than White.

But I agree. Hell, it would be nice if he even got on the field in the NFL though.

could BJ play WR in the NFL?

Possibly. If he made it would depend on his 40 time. But the thing that sticks with me is how he was on the hands team and recovered an onside kick a year or two ago. He must have pretty good hands for the coaches to risk that.

Well since Rutgers has had 23 players drafted in the last 20 years. One would tend to think that your estimate is wildly overstated. One might even say you were wearing Scarlet colored glasses. in fact There were exactly 13 players selected in the top 5 rounds during that time period or an avg of .65 players per year in the top 5. To speculate that Rutgers would somehow have 9 players drafted in the first 5 rounds, is well, cuckoo.
