  1. Most of us are pissed that Flood wasn't fired... He was supposed to be 100% fired after the USF game (regardless of outcome) if we could have landed one of Tressel, Golden, Mullen or Franklin as Head Coach fo whatever our big donors were willing to spend. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to land any of them and our donors didn't want to take a shot on a coordinator like Narduzzi so Flood stayed. It led to a huge board meltdown that lasted almost 2 weeks. None of us are happy with Flood at head coach. Losing 4 4 star recruits in the last 2 months doesn't help either... We are at a low point heading into the big ten. It's just not good.
  2. WOW... I didn't expect you guys to take this to heart and actually DO this... Our win over you guys is looking worse and worse after each week (at least Arkansas beat Auburn convincingly today ) and to think most of us thought beating USF on the road was a QUALITY win... first Ball St, now Temple... I just don't know what to say but... Can you guys even FIRE Holtz? didn't he sign like a 7yr contract last year after going 1-6 in the Big East (who's bright idea was that )... smh...
  3. Well... you already lost to one MAC school on the road... what's another such loss... *shrugs*
  4. Louisville D isn't great... that's their weakness... especially secondary...
  5. UConn has a D on par with Rutgers (slightly less faster/quicker) and have limited NC St and Maryland to very little yards...
  6. Complete and utter annihilation huh? losing by ten and being 3 points down after tying it up with 6 to go doesn't sound quite like that to me. Our defense was out there for the first 7 MINUTES OF THE THIRD QUARTER AND ONLY GAVE UP 10 POINTS AND ONLY 17 for the rest of the game... not sure how much you want there... could they have blitzed more maybe. Maybe they didn't blitz because their receivers were all over 6'6" and our corners and safeties are scratching 6' maybe... BJ's inability to throw intermediate passes is why we lost in spite of your defense's great play... 10 of those points were gifted to you guys on penalties... We had to fight for our TOs... deflecting passes etc. Lol the first one wasn't even a real interception it clearly hits the ground and the player never has control of it... Second one was a punt return where you had just went three and out and caught our inexperienced returner off guard not sure where fighting for it there is... especially after you had already given up over 20 yards on the return... The lucky bounce off of Landi's chest after BJ rocketed it in there was hard earned as well? Glad to see you're still here to stir things up. WRONG on the third 1... rJr CB Logan Ryan who was in tight coverage on the outside with the TE... DEFLECTED the pass as it made contact with your TE's hands... the pass then hit the TE's knee which then propelled the ball slightly upward to get picked off by backup rSr CB/SS Wayne Warren in the endzone... That pass was either an int or a PD if Warren hadn't caught it... We ripped out the ball on the punt return... that wasn't given to us... and we had to layout for the other two INTs... they weren't exactly thrown at us... The 2 INTs that WERE thrown directly to us were missed by our CB (Cooper) because he jumped too early and went for completions... If it weren't for our miscues all 1st half we would have posted another 20 on you guys... leading to a blowout... You guys could hardly move the ball on offense against us apart from 3 prayers that BJ threw up...

  8. Unfortunately their best passing seemed to come on 3rd and long. Should not have happened that many times that's because usually on 1st and 2nd down we ran the ball...
  9. That could have led to a serious injury like an ACL tear... He was aiming for the knee... Anyway it has already been reported to the league offices so there may be some type of suspension handed down by the Big East...
  10. This kind off dirty play shouldn't be tolerated... deliberately trying to injure other players... USF's Austin Reiter Goes Low On Rutgers' Scott Vallone South Florida Bulls center Austin Reiter's hit on Rutgers Scarlet Knights defensive lineman Scott Vallone was penalized on the field as the Bulls lead the Scarlet Knights at the half, 6-3. Both teams have been sloppy in the game, which is South Florida's first Big East contest of the season. Rutgers has committed seven penalties in the first half, but this penalty on South Florida, one of its two on the night thus far, was most notable for it's blatant nature. With new Big East commissioner Mike Aresco in the house, a more severe penalty could be headed South Florida and Reiter's way. http://tampabay.sbnation.com/2012/9/13/3329662/usf-austin-reiter-rutgers-scott-vallone It's being discussed on the Rutgers board here... http://rutgers.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=642&tid=157828369&mid=157828369&sid=988&style=2
  11. Winner!!! (on the score)... close to 23-13... with correct winning team... Actual: RU 23 USF 13 RU: 1 Rushing TD, 1 Passing TD, 3 FGs USF: 1 Rushing TD, 2 FGs
  12. BTW the pick from the TE on the endzone wasn't a fluke... The CB on him (Logan Ryan) deflected the ball from the TE's hands as the ball hit the TE in the hands... the ball then bounced of the TEs knee up into the air for Wayne Warren to pick it off... That play would have either been a pick or a pass deflection... that play wasn't on your TE or BJ Daniels at all... just an excellent play by our corners...
  13. What about us... you think any of our players (listed above) impressed the scouts?
  14. it was also a helmet to helmet hit on the punt returner (Mason Robinson) that caused the muffed punt... THAT should have negated the muff (both penalties should have negated each other) and it should have been a 15yd running into the kicker penalty on Rutgers and 1st down for USF... that was a blown call by the refs... The correct call was NOT muffed punt... due to the uncalled helmet-to-helmet hit on the punt returner...
  15. That's all Bull****... The Rutgers DL even got ridiculed by a poster here for being to "small" when I posted their stats... Here is our depth chart... we aren't all that big... Maybe it's true that wearing white makes you look bigger and slower while wearing black makes you look smaller and faster... Tune in to the RU-UConn game in 3 weeks to see if that's true (that will be a blackout game where all players and fans will wear black)...
