I took in my first USF men's soccer game on Saturday with my 14 year old son, after watching the great football win. I must say, they did a great job on putting that together. The team's talent is great, along with the fan experience. My 14 year old loved it and wants to go see more games there. Seemed like there were about 1500 students alone and about 2000+ total. They had the grills going, music playing and the fans did all kinds of chants to intimidate the other team (especially the goalie). I highly recommend checking it out sometime if you haven't gone.

As far as soccer environments go, after being at 3 great soccer schools (USF, South Carolina, currently at Coastal Carolina) I can confidently say that USF's soccer atmosphere comparable to Duke's basketball atmosphere. Just above and beyond everyone else. Soccer is an afterthought at a lot of schools, but it might be our second most popular men's sport after football.

I love the Goal Mouths' style. And at $6 general admission, USF men's soccer is a great bargain.

That is great that you are getting your son involved in USF athletics. This is how tradition is built. Take him to as many games as he wants to go to. At $6 a ticket, you cant beat that anywhere. The product is good and the expierence is amazing.
