My thinking was that Shaw may be better served being the starter for two years rather than splitting carries with Lamar as the #2.

Skip made it clear Tuesday that Willie Davis isn't ready. Battles -- who was suspended last week -- is someone he trusts much more in a larger role. Just spot carries and special-teams work for him for now.

Battles is a strong RB. I look forward to seeing what he can do but i think Davis can also be a major factor in years to come. We need more BEEF on the OL tho. Losing the Jorner kids kinda hurt
