That's because they know they are hemorrhaging listeners as we all migrate to 98.7 FM (official home of the USF Bulls!)

If Lamar picks up a "bad case of turf toe" or a "high ankle sprain" then yes.

If Lamar gets any playing time this week, then he would have to be injured to get a red-shirt

That's because they know they are hemorrhaging listeners as we all migrate to 98.7 FM (official home of the USF Bulls!) Isn't that a riot? Most of us have been wanting a station which will treat USF like a real college football team and not dismiss or ignore them. A certain someone, whenever called out on it, thought we wanted a USF love fest and that has NEVER been the case. I remember that guy did his national show on Saturday's and was asked a question about West Virginia by a West Virginia fan regarding their national championship chances before USF played them in 2006. He talked with the caller about the game without even mentioning "USF" or "Bulls" once. That should have been his time to shine with a little knowledge about the team but he had none to offer. USF went on to beat a very good West Virginia team later on that day and he could have looked like a genius had he mentioned anything in passing about USF. USF had actually slowed down Steve Slaton the year before (Pat White ran wild instead in 2005) and he could have at least mentioned that.
