Actually things seem to be working out well for CJ Bennett at USA. Has 5 years of eligibility. Started 3 games as a true freshman, all 10 last year as a "Redshirt Freshman".

He still has 3 seasons ahead of him as the incumbent QB. At USF, he would still probably be stuck behind BJ. So CUSA gives him a much better venue to showcase his talents, 5 years to do it in and it's an 8 hour drive to home. What more could he ask for?

Look like he love USF, and grew up a Canes fan. Who will win this battle?

He needs to come home to USF.

Sky's the limit with our program.. and we do it right.

Not under any investigation or penalties.

if bennett is coaching bay area QBs and holds a grudge against USF then that is a shame...

he might want to blame all the other florida schools that aren't keeping 5`10 QBs home. Did FAU / FIU offer? Just curious.

To be honest I think hes got more character than to negatively influence his players decisions.

if its a first offense and he had a good lawyer it probably a misdemeanor or two by now. MIP program and some service hours.

that would be my guess
