Crazy we are playing UCF twice this year as nonconference. Would have like to see 1 of those games be a higher profile to help our SOS

UCF had a final RPI of #55. So, playing two games against them helps our SOS. I'd rather beat them twice than beat them once and lose to a top 25 team.

Didn't realize it was that high. Makes sense

Actually, UCF RPI ended up #58. They had been #54 on the prior NCAA release. WVU, for example, was #61.

Here are all the RPI's for OOC schools we are playing.

Away

Oklahoma State. #122

UCF #58

Stetson #263

Home

(Home opener) UCF #58

(BE/SEC challenge) Georgia #104

Bradley #268

Youngstown St #175

George Mason #84

Bowling Green #165

USF Round Robin Tourney

Western Michigan #208

Loyola #310

Maryland-Eastern Shore #320

So, let's beat UCF twice, and hope they do very well the rest of their season.

With that schedule it's very possible that USF will be underfeated going into BE play. It would be nice to have played a National power or 2 because I think USF will have a team that can play with just about anybody, .

Uh-oh. The pre-season hype is contagious. Already setting lofty goals .

No matter if it helps us, I will never root for UCiF to do well.
