The writer of this article went to great lengths not to say so explicitly, but he nonetheless leaves the impression that JPP is just a little bit slow. JPP is a great football player and a nice guy, but it's painful to hear him speak sometimes because he lacks any eloquence or ability to express himself clearly. I have no doubt that he's a great person and football player, but it's hard to ignore his lacking in mental sharpness. I'm not sure this article does much to dispel that impression. I think the gist of article was that JPP started playing football late in his life and isn't some ego driven superstar who thinks he's too smart to ask questions about thing he's still learning and doesn't stop asking until he gets it right ...
