That being the case, were the Oklahoma, Arkansas, Alabama games - with us as OOC/tune-up opponents - less than a regular SEC / Big 12 game ticket? Just wondering....

we can worry about that when we consitently sell out all home games, which will probably be never  :-[

What constitutes a "casual fan" ?  How is that defined? And how do we ascertain their value relative to ticket revenue?

Seems to me a casual fan would be someone who would show up for a game based more on the opponent than on USF.

I agree with your definition and at this point in USF football i think a good part of our non season tix holders are "casual" fans.

By that definition a lot of our basketball season ticket owners are "casual" fans ........   ;)

I do understand an increase but I feel it is too much at one time......we were 4-7 last year right?  I will pay it but NOT happy.

Hey, I think everyone should get season tix while you can.  You know in 10 years, you're going to be on a waiting list.  Stop the bizlenitching.

I see the post 10 years from now ******** about people not being about to get USF tix.

In the word of Snoop, Drop it while it's hot!

Do you think the 5 game schedule had anything to do with it?

That was my first thought.  Didn't someone on this board say our agreement with TSA/Glazers was to pay for 6 games per year.  Maybe we have to drop $125,000 X 6 every year (if that is the figure).

While I don't really mind the increase, I think the ceiling has been reached.  Our tickets are now $26 per game.  And that's for seats on the 10 yard line.

With the 5 game schedule, it was a bit sneaky.  My wife didn't realize the increase until I pointed it out.
