If they don't want a possible loss to count against their record, they shouldn't take the chamionship game money.

One of the criteria they look for when choosing teams for certain bowls is will the fans travel? The NCAA has no incentive in giving you a playoff, they would lose money. Of the 119 division 1 teams, 66 will get to go to a bowl every season. (33 bowls)

College football is a joke. I'm all NFL.

i CANNOT BELIEVE they allowed UCLA to play in a bowl game with a LOSING RECORD!!!!!!!! WTF...Western Kentucky went 7-5 overall and 7-1 in conference and gets left out but 2 teams who finished worse than WKU in conference get bowl games.....system is broken

Those 2 teams finished 8-4 and are going to bowl games within easy driving distance of their fans so I kind of see that ... does suck for WKU, though.
