FYI

If we win out our 2011 BE record 3-4, UL would be 5-3 at best, WVU would be 5-3 at best.

Final BE standings:

2010: 3-4

2009: 3-4

2008: 2-5

2007: 4-3

2006: 4-3

2005: 4-3

Pointing out that IF we win out, HUGE IF, our season will not be that different from any previous ones. I'd love for us to improve now, but sometimes, it takes more time than we want it to.

Brad, when I question BJ's ability, I'm constantly told that I hate BJ. Why can I be accused of hating BJ, but to say the samething about those that question Coach Holtz is wrong?

I don't hate Holtz, I think this program will be in for some bad years if he leaves but...we won't win out.

Right, and as I pointed out to you in the other thread that you posted that, I don't get why comparing to the tenure of a fired coach makes any sense. We didn't fire Leavitt to go out and equal or fall shy of previous perfomance.

You can argue that Leavitt set the bar and Holtz is making it if you wish, but that isn't the goal of most fans.

But the "Hate" stuff has to stop. People did proclaim HATE for Leavitt, openly. I have the posts. Some threatened him. Hoped for bad things. I don't think anyone thinks the same of Holtz. He has greater support than Leavitt had and no one HATES him. So let's stop that. They may wish to discuss on field performance, that should not be interpreted as HATE.

Yes, hate is not a good thing to be tossing around, especially from a fan message board lobbed at the head coach of the program.
