It can happen but we have major question marks. 1. Post play - Gus is out only guy over 6'8. 2. Pg play- it should be decent but it isn't battle tested. Tbd 3. Will victor Rudd be consistently dominating? Or will he not show up. 4. Depth. How will jawanza and Collins do when they are healthily. 5. No true home games. Sure we never have a true hc advantage as fat as crowd... But being nomads has to have a negative effect. I see 3-4 conf wins with 7 or 8 nonconf wins You're right with the question marks, but I see us winning against Rutgers, Seton Hall, Depaul, Providence once and stealing a game or two as underdogs. I see 3-4 conf wins with 7 or 8 nonconf wins 8 wins in non-conference would probably mean an upset or two ... without Jawanza, which would bode well for conf play.
