This is just a brief topic to address the people freaking out because they aren't hearing anything from Doug Woolard, Judy Genshaft, John Gerdes (yes, I know he's moved on) or the ghost of Lee Roy Selmon or Bobby Paschal (yes, I know he's still alive)....

The last time this went down it was dead silence from 4202 Fowler.  It is called working behind the scenes....not showing your hand....not blowin' your load.

In the grand scheme of things USF is an attractive program with a huge student population and unlimited fanbase in a major media market....oh, and let's not forget the recruiting grounds.  That carries some weight.  In terms of attractiveness we probably outrank every Big East team out there.  Are we destined for the ACC?  Probably not.  I can't see FSU and Miami endorsing that.  If FSU disappears...well, I guess we'll see.

So take a note from Robert Marley and grab yourself the nearest doobie and chill a bit...at least on the news out of Fowler Avenue.  You are on a need to know basis and you don't need to know.
