Just hit the record button.

One of the best games we've ever played.

I remember there was talk of UL going to the Rose Bowl,  prior to this game and Steve Dead Air on 620 had to eat a big plate of CROW!

I think my single favorite moment ever as a USF fan came during this game. As the second-half kickoff was booted by Louisville, I turned to my friend in the stands and said, despite the lead, that I still feared Louisville would turn it on in the second half. I remember that 70-or-so yard run by ... Michael Bush? ... at the end of the first half that got stopped before he could get into the end zone, it seemed to be a bad sign.

Then my friend said "shut up! look!" and Chad Simpson was flying down the field en route to a touchdown that really put the game away. Fantastic.

Rod Smith left USF to be the QB Coach at WVa under Rich Rod a position he held at USF prior to becoming the OC.  Prior to Rod Smith, Kevin Hobbie was the O.C.

Urriela was the one who almost ran it back before half.

Watching this game, if Darrell Scott plays anywhere close to how Andre Hall did, as a bruiser...we'll have a good running game.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
