I just hope they don't permanently do away with the white helmets.

Not to burst anyone's bubble but most of those helmets have all been around for a long time. They play around making mock-ups all the time, using different color helmets, chinstraps, striping, facemasks. As much as you all want to believe they listened to your suggestions, the staff have had a mock up made well before you thought of it or suggested it. They are definitely still cool to look at though have fun, I'm sure some of you guys would go nuts if you saw some of the Jersey mock ups they have.

As many people have mentioned before I hope they go to a standard rotation.  White for non-con, gold for home, and green for road (or some variation).  That'll satisfy both the "variety" and "tradition" camps. We'd probably be the first to have a standard 3 helmet rotation (WSU does a 2 helmet rotation and Oregon does, well, what Oregon does).

And you know this how?  Were/are you on staff working on this?  If not, thanks for raining on everyone's parade.  ::)

Pretty safe to assume they had the gold and white ones there.

the constant changing makes it difficult to get a traditional look

Hasn't hurt Oregon

Based on our lack of tradition, as far as uni's go that is, we might be emulating the Oregon model which is to have a jersey + helmet combo in each of our schools colors... Green, Gold, and White.

I don't have a problem with this just as long as we don't follow their lead with putting diamond plate steel or gay ass wings on the should pad area of our jerseys shoulder pads...

Baylor also roatates 2 helmets I believe.

I believe Kentucky used to (not sure if they still do)

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
