I'm hoping for 3 or the 4 Tampa kids to commit to USF by the time its all said and done. Would do wonders to keep the Bay area kids at USF.

Yep, Holtz needs to start building that fence pronto.

"There were rumors earlier this week that he was going to head to Alabama instead of USF, but it looks like those were squashed yesterday and he will be in Tampa. It would be a huge coup if Chickillo switched his commitment to USF, but in the end I think he still heads to Miami. His father and grandfather's both played for UM, and I think that he ultimately follows in their footsteps."

Yep, Holtz needs to start building that fence pronto.

I'd rather Holtz build a sturdy fence and take a little longer to do it than build a quick, chintzy fence where the best guys can still get away. You want the fence to still be standing after Holtz moves on.

And remember that Skip's recruiting experience is in the Carolinas and Georgia so I'm OK with that helping to bridge the gap.
