The mens and womens team made a final four.  The baseball team made it to a college world series.  Tonight UL mens soccer beat North Carolina to advance to the national title in mens soccer.  Pretty good for UL and the Big East.

I know the fact they even made it that far is crazy.  When I was going to school there I didnt even know they had a mens soccer team.  They have come a long way.

For those that don't know...UL has some of the best facilities in the nation...most of which have been built over the past 10 years or so.

From their new 22,000 seat Downtown Basketball Arena that opened last month...to their newly expanded stadium (with was a fairly new stadium to begin with...opening in '98), to all of their new stadiums they have built.

Just a few of them were:

1998: Brand new football stadium (expanded in 2010)

New Soccer/Track Stadium

New Field Hockey Stadium

New Lacrosse Stadium

New Baseball Stadium

New Softball Stadium

New 22,000 seat Downtown Basketball Arena

New 120 yard Indoor Football Practice Facility (Trager Center)
