Any good Carolina BBQ places downtown?  I loved Jim and Nick's when we were in B'ham for Papa Johns Bowl.

Alright guys, I'm coming up to Charlotte for the game. And I'm trying to find someplace unique to do one of the nights we're there. My girlfriend is only 20, bars really won't work, and I'd like to do something special.

I'm just curious if you all know of something that is worth seeing or going to and all. Whether it is a nice restaurant there or whatever.

Any and all suggestions are welcome. We are staying right "Uptown" if it makes a difference

Something that you may want to do is the LOWE's motor speedway.  Even if you do not how to spell nascar you will love it.  Make sure yo take the ride around the track.  That put you in a passenger van and then go upwards to 100mph, it is quite a rush when you wind up on one of the corners.

I was going to suggest Carowinds, http://www.carowinds.com/ , but they're closed for the winter ... They were open in 2005.
