Best rate was the La Quinta Inn at $54.00 a night... there was a Hampton in the general area though that had rates for $116.00 a night. If you stay 5-10 minutes from the Upptown / Stadium area the prices get a wee bit cheaper.

The only time I will be in the hotel is if I'm sleeping so its location is irrelevant to me... as long as its a 10 minute ride away I'm fine. I plan on doing the bowl stuff and doing some local sights as well.

The La Quinta was still giving the $54.00 rate last I checked... they might had bumped it up by now though.

Saw that one a few others in that area, but I would rather pay a little more and stay closer to downtown and not have to worry about driving, or using taxi's.
