There will be a 5 way tie and more than likely we will be the highest ranked team.

The BCS ranking item is used by some conferences like the Big Ten-- where not all the teams play every other team. We play everybody in the Big East, so there is a definitive tie breaker in place. No, you are wrong again. The first step are the head to heads. The five teams that are tied would form a mini-conference. Then the mini-conference standings determine who would go.UConn would still go to the BCS game.
Guest nybullsfan
Reposting the question here:So if Pitt and WVU both lose, UCONN gets the BCS regardless of whether they win or lose to us?Here is the mini-conference detailESPN Gameday Final mention UConn wins the 5 way tie. How was not mentioned. It was just stated smuggly. 5 way tie means UConn, WVU, Pitt, USF, and Cuse all finished 4-3 in conference.First tie breaker is to form a mini conference among the tied teams.UConn 3-1WVU 2-2Pitt 2-2Cuse 2-2USF 1-3UConn wins conference BCS bid.(Since our game is so late, and the other games are at noon, we will know before kickoff what the situation is for the title)
