If we go 7-5 versus 8-4 will that affect our recruiting outcome?    I think the biggest deal would be to beat Miami. However, if we win the Big East (co-champs) will that inspire 4 and 5 stars that we are pursing to choose USF?

I'm thinking if we beat Miami, that will have a larger impact on recruiting than our overall record this year.  Now, if we beat Miami and win the Big East and our BCS bowl, who knows?

Winning the Big East may sway a player or 2 this year.  If we are not already on a kid this won't jump us to the top of his list, but the impact may be where we are already ina  kid's final 2 or 3.  Also, we are real tight on space this class already so the impact won't be as much as we would hope just because we do not have 10 scholarships still open.

I don't think beating Miami this late in the year will have that impact either.

A BCS game (better yet a win) would really set the stage for next year's class though.  Similarly, beating Miami would give the staff credibility in saying that they can play with and beat anyone.

Winning the Big East.  **** lack of an edit button.

Miami already has some recruits wavering, so a win there might help us.

How many schollies do we have left? Right now, this class is at 16, plus the couple of running backs coming in, Boyd, and maybe Montague qualifying after grey shirting.

Depends on who is wavering.  A lot of those UM commits have never considered USF seriously.  As for the ones on our list, like Teddy Bridgewater, a Miami loss may do more to send him to LSU than USF.  Hard to predict which is why I guessed 1 or 2.

We have 16 committed, and still have possibly Aycock, Montague and TJ Mutcherson who are out there.  I think Boyd and Scott are already on scholarship. My recollection is we have 19 scholarship seniors, so we may be break even right now.  The problem is not the 25 we could bring in, but the 85 overall.

Now if we part ways with Weatherford, have a couple academic casualties and a few transfers then we might have 6 or 7 more scholarships.

Is Dontae Aycock not on our roster as a RB ( Transfer from Auburn)?

On the roster, but my recollection is that he is not on scholarship.
