For all the talk about our offense and QB, I've never seen a USF defense give up on the ball that many times just to take a cheap shot on the receiver.  Leavitt may have had his boys flagged for late hits playing to the whistle, but I never remembered the number of cheap shots from our boys.

Holtz has done a commendable job at thugging up our defense.  At least our team is only in danger of loosing games... unlike the situation his bully son got himself into...

Really??  I think you are alone in this line of thinking.  I believe our penalties are half of what they were in a given game/season under the previous coaching regime.  We are playing some pretty clean football.  And the Defense is better than I expected.
