Who's got it? What are your thoughts?

I am thinking about getting off of BH, but I am not sure if I really want to or not. Honestly, it's just lazyness and having to deal with canceling BH, dealing with installer, etc.

Is it worth it? I'd have the NFL package which would be nice, especially since the Dolphins are only on half the time in Orlando. NFL network would be good too. I'd still have to get internet from BH.

I would be using a referral from a friend too, so I'd save $10/mo for the first 10 months.

IMO, DirecTV is the best thing going.  I'm currently stuck in a rental house w/ Comcast and it blows.  The digital signal cuts out for a few seconds at least once an hour.  Luckily, I am buying a house that has a DirecTV dish already installed in a month.

Don't you have issues with the Thunderstorms?  or have they fixed that?

I stay in hotels that seem to all have Direct TV and they lose their signal to a lot of stations whenever there is a storm.

Got stuck in Chicago hotel room with no TV during a blizzard.

I've had it for 10 years. Rarely lose the signal during storms. Even when a storm does interfere, it's only out for a few seconds. I had much more downtime with cable.

i have dtv... its awesome...

for me its the only way to go... i can't live without the sunday ticket every season
