Yeah looking at FAU's 2011 schedule it is done......8 Sun Belt games, Auburn, MSU, UF, & UAB. See that is the problem.....most seem to have their 2011 schedule DONE. We on the other hand have 2 openings.....what are we Rutgers?!?

I expect FAMU at ray jay and fau in Boca to open their stadium.

They play Florida, Auburn, and Michigan State OOC... I doubt they want USF on that schedule... they might prefer BCC or another smaller FCS school to be the opener.

Howard dreams big.  And uf, msu nor auburn going to Boca.

Well since we love Sun Belt teams.....North Texas, ULM & ULL are still looking for 2 more games and Arkansas State & MTSU needs one game.

I'd like to see us play some new blood...FAMU is fine for the I-AA opponent, but if that falls thru lets bring in GA Southern to avenge losses from the old school.

As for the non-BCS D-I team, BYU isn't a bad idea, but in my opinion, others to think of:

- Navy (recognizable following)

- East Carolina (Coach's old stomping grounds)

- Southern Miss (for sh*** and giggles)

- San Jose St. (western perspective)

- UNLV or Nevada-Reno

I agree with you but it will have to be after 2011.....ALL of those schools have their schedules FULL. SJSU actually has 13 games scheduled since they play at Hawaii.

I would love a game at FAU...15 minute drive!

Someone new would be great as well....filling up with the Ball State's/WKU's/FIU's is dull.

Again it won't be FAU unless they are dropping someone off their schedule because they already have 12 games set up.

Assuming we go the MAC, CUSA or Sun Belt route for this last game here is what we have to choose from:

Sun Belt

Louisiana Layfayette needs 2 games

Louisiana Monroe needs 2

North Texas needs 2

MTSU needs 1

Arkansas State needs 1

CUSA

UTEP needs 2 games

Houston needs 2

MAC

All the Directional Michigan schools need 2 (East, West & Central)

Miami OH needs 1 Road game

Akron Needs 2

Kent State needs 2

And then the wildcard is BYU needs 3.....and we have heard the rumor that BYU wanted to play 2 Florida schools (i.e. UCF and USF)

So there you have it. Nothing real appealing in that list besides Houston, BYU, maybe UTEP if you want to have a good memory in that stadium.

BYU or Houston would be great.

I thinl it'll be BYU as the non- BCS. I posted the quote from XM Radio - it was an ex-BYU player, now an analyst. No official word yet (that I've seen) on BYU's scheduling strategy. Even so, I think it's a go.
