We've been burned at corner so much in recent years... that is where I want to see improvement...not getting burned deep...no biting on play action... don't let receivers get behind you.  We have the talent at that position, but how many games have been lost due to 60 yard pass plays over the last 3 seasons.... ugh.

The most important thing about the Stony Brook game is that the Bulls come away with no serious injuries.

Fowler wasn't a fan of Leavitt's sideline antics. Fowler felt that the Bulls was underacheiving. Remember he did the Bulls/rutgers game last year. He had alot to say about Leavitt and the Bulls in that game. I don't blame him and the rest of the college world to take a wait and see on the Bulls. If we go in and compete hard against uf. We could get some votes.

He was totally right in that game.  It was laughable and the team and coach were embarrassing themselves on TV.

I understand, but the tone that he said it was erring on the side of

"Prepare to get your teeth smashed in"

Fowler has never given us love... I mean, we've never really done anything to warrant it over the past few years, but hopefully that'll change :)

Gators going down.

I remember being able to hold my breath on punts and kicks because we almost broke one every time it seemed.

I'm holding my breath on those for an entirely different reason now.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."

    Jim Leavitt
