Guest nybullsfan
I'm still pro Auburn annual game; good ppl and sure to be competitive Unfortunately Auburn has no interest Excuse me for my skepticism, but what makes you say this? You have a link where AU has come out publicly? Personally I think they would be eager for some revenge for '07...

They got Bama and UGA, we'd never be anything bigger than 3rd.Our best chance at a rivalry with a BCS school is Miami. If UCF joins the big East one day...that'd be tailored.Geography in our conference hurts the only big distance rivalry is ND/USC.

By ANTONYA ENGLISH and PETE YOUNG© St. Petersburg Timespublished October 2, 2002 ________________________________________South Florida's quest to become a football superpower on par with Florida State, Miami and Florida took another step forward Tuesday with the scheduling of a two-game series with the Gators in 2008 and 2009. Both games will be played in Gainesville. "We've been talking to South Florida for a year or so, maybe longer," Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley said. "The contract came back in late last week. We're excited about playing." The announcement comes after the two highest-profile games in USF's six-year history, losses Sept. 14 at Arkansas and Saturday at No. 3-ranked Oklahoma, which aired on TBS and was the Bulls' first nationally televised game. "The base guarantee is $500,000, but as we get closer to the game we've agreed to see what the market is at that point and time," Foley said. "I think it's only fair to them that we look at that since we're talking about 2008, 2009." I hope this was a joke post... because if not.. you'd appear smarter just staying quietDid you research ANYTHING you posted?

Come on, you can't be serious. I don't need a quote. I have common sense. USF is still a nobody on the national scene. No matter what anyone thinks on here. The academys rivalries with eachother are a special case. Then you have 3 "rivalries" on there that people who go to the school couldn't give a crap about. No reality check needed, just confirming whether your statement was your opinion Grammatically, when you stated "Unfortunately Auburn has no interest," you were speaking for AU. Glad to hear that you're just speaking for yourself, and meant to say something on the order of "Unfortunately, I believe Auburn has no interest" As for myself, I missed the part about the "annual" series with AU. I agree, I don't think they'd be interested in that either. I do however, think they'd be interested in a future 1-and-1 to get some revenge.
