From what happened on the field, JPP was only a very good player.  Not even near our best statistically.

The names on offense have no one that can compare to McKenzie and Mitchell. It is not even a contest.

Yup, McKenzie and Mitchell were probably the best transfers, in terms of on the field production, that USF's had up to this point.

I kinda think JPP, holds that honor.

Kinda think your wrong if were looking at field production.

Kawika Mitchel:

2002- 117 Total Tackles, 19 Tackles For Loss, 4 Sacks, 1 Int, 1 Rush 56 yards 1 Touchdown (on a fake punt i believe), 2 FF

2001- 106 Total Tackles, 7 TFL, 1.5 Sacks

2000- 77 Total Tackles, 6 TFL, 1 Sack

1999- 67 Total Tackles, 5 TFL, 1.5 Sacks, 1 Int, 1 FF

Tyron McKenzie:

2008: 116 Total Tackles, 15 TFL, 1 Sack, 1 Int,

2007: 121 Total Tackles, 7.5 TFL, 1.5 Sacks, 1 Blk Kick, 2 FF

Jason Pierre-Paul:

2009: 45 Tackls, 16.5 TFL, 6.5 Sacks, 1 Int, 1 TD, 1 Blk Kick, 2 FF

Although JPP has some huge upside and potential, as far as on the field production out of a transfer I'm going with Kawika.

I think junior college transfers aren't being included on that list. Otherwise Andre Hall would win in a walk.

There might be a bunch of NFL scouts who would disagree with you on that one.

Are we talking about what they did at USF, or their pro potential? Because Hall clearly wins on production as a Bull.

I think you are comparing apples with oranges. LB stats to DE stats. And Conference USA + Div. II vs. Top Ten teams and BCS. I think JPP stats are skewed down later in 2009, because if the other team was smart they were going the other direction.

He wore #2 at Colorado.  Maybe he can produce like our last RB who wore #2...

Yeah, I mentioned that on a previous page in this thread and posted some of HIS pics.

He commented on that on his facebook page today:

You going to be wearing #2? USF had a great RB who wore #2 Andre Hall who made it to the NFL. Hope you follow the same path.

Darrell Scott God willing I will that's every football players dream.

I think #2 jersey is available, because the guy who last wore it, Carlton Mitchell, also went to the NFL this year. Hope they give it to you.

Good Luck and just stay healthy.

I loved it when Kawika sacked Brady in the superbowl.

Even though he has to sit out this season, It's a good sign that he is looking forward to getting started right away. He seems motivated.
