I'm sure the players LOVE having it start at 5-6pm and being over by 8-9 local time so they can still get a night out on the town....

but from a fans perspective...its really hard to watch an all star game when the sun is still out on the field.

well the hitters were complaining about the shadows for the first few innings...when you have all-stars saying the shadows are effecting them at the plate you know there's a problem

if they want to have the game rotated around the country, they need to have it on a sunday afternoon. i know, i know, prime time ratings...so have it on saturday night, and they need the actual START of the game to be no later than 8pm EST!!! none of this 45 min of hoopla stuff...start that crap at 7pm EST or something.
