Scout has his name spelled differently, but he ended up committing to South Alabama...don't know what's up with that garbage.

This explains it:

PHS star commits to South Alabama

From Staff Reports • July 24, 2010

Pensacola High linebacker Cordivido Grice, a member of the PNJ All-Area team and honorable mention on 2009 all-state team, has given a verbal commitment to attend the University of South Alabama.

Grice, the leading returning tackler in this area, will join several other players from the Pensacola area on South Alabama's fledgling Division 1-A football program.

The Jaguars will play a Division 1-A schedule in 2011 and will be a full member of the Sun Belt Conference in 2013.

Grice said he chose USA over South Florida, which also showed great interest in him, because of the proximity. He likes the fact his family can attend home games in Mobile, an hour away.

Or, given that we have 2 lb commits now and the staff(presumably) feels good about other more highly thought of lbs cordivido did not have a "commitable" offer.
