I think that what I have taken from this is that Mitchell is very serious. I remember reading about him and Chico a couple of years ago and how Canales said that he had "it", and Mitchell following him around like crazy trying to soak up every bit of NFL receiver knowledge that he could.

Mitchell took a huge risk, but he has trained very hard, and worked his tail off to turn some heads.

I would love to have Mitchell here next year, but after a decent season, it was just as big of a risk for him to come back in a new offense as it was for him to get paid now. Good luck to Mitchell, hope the Fins pick him up in the second or 3rd round. He could have an immediate impact in Miami.

best of luck to him.

however, i think we can all agree that 40 times are overrated.

he will need to show great route running and great hands to really be a standout pick in the draft.

maybe oakland can take him since they LOVE size and speed.  but after their 2 draft picks last year i think they are staying away from WRs this year.

Please not Oakland...that is where WR's are put out to pasture.  Even if they get McNabb, he'll never develop.

Wow.  Looks like his decision to go early may work out well for him after all.

Good job, Carlton.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
