Why do some of you have this "USF against the World" attitude??? Exactly what has USF done over the past 20 years to get any respect from ESPN when it comes to basketball? Did they have a good year? Yes, if you are a USF fan. They went .500 in the conference (and yes, I know it is the Big East) and are a huge long shot to make the tourney. Great. Let's do it again next year, then maybe we will be slightly relevant on the national scene and then can contend to have a gripe. Until then, we're just another school with a lot to prove.

Why you gotta **** on everyone's parade?  I don't think anyone is remotely upset.  We had an awesome year and whether it's NIT or NCAA we should all be very proud.  After all, we're not talking about football.

I agree with him. The OP ended up ******** and moaning because of what looks to be a simple error he noticed?

Our fans want instant gratification when we haven't proven jack. It's annoying.

I think the OP's vent was more about football than hoops.  We kiss ESPN bootay every which way to possible for football but not bball.  We're all pretty stoked.

BTW, we've been waiting several years for the football gratification.  I don't think you can use the term "instant" anymore.  Hopefully Skip can make something happen this year.

I'll admit, it was late, I was tired, slightly in a bad mood cause I couldn't sleep. I probably should not have posted it. However, I still am fed up a bit with ESPN as the end all be all of sports.
