Loved his answer regarding Ford's carries ... he won't establish the depth chart, the players will.

That's a GREAT quote. Love to see things like that.

His actual answer for Ford was something like ... if he works hard DURING THE WEEK AT PRACTICE... and said the players set the depth chart by WORKING HARD AT PRACTICE.

Sorry, guys... but Ford may not get any more carries under Holtz than he did under Leavitt.... unless his work ethic improves from the stories I've heard (online and offline)

I don't care as long as the carry list does look like:

rb #1 (starter) 7 carries

rb #2 6 carries

rb #3 4 carries

rb #4 2 carries

qb 12 carries

We were a bit surprised of the layout at Stumps but still ended up having a good time.  The MC's, Joel and Justin?, need to ask different questions of different players.  Asking each guy the same thing got the same response from each.

Good to see you again Mutt.  And got a chance to meet Sitting Bull as he mentioned earlier.  Didn't meet ET or anyone else from the Board. 

Seemed like more people there this year, but the Athl. Dept. needs to find another venue that will both allow people to see what's going on and yet make it feel cozy and give coach a chance to make the rounds and say Hi to everyone.  Tough job, but they should be able to come up with something.
