Hans Louis, the Chaminade-Madonna standout linebacker and Sun Sentinel small school Defensive Player of the Year, made a trip to Tampa for an official visit with USF this past weekend....

Any thoughts on this guy?

He is a two star recruit on Rivals, and seems a little undersized. Considering the limited number of scholarships available I'm surprised we gave him an offer. I would be hoping that at this point we would only offer three and four star recruits.

Looks like we were competing with FIU, Middle Tenn, Toledo, and Western Kentucky for this kid. Glad we could win that battle

He's committed to Marshall and it looks like he was recruited by West Virginia. That makes me believe Doc Holliday was personally recruiting him at WVU and now at Marshall. Not a world beater scenario by any means, but it's not as bad as you're making it sound.

Don't forget that DeMarcus Ware was a small and lightly recruited LB out of Auburn HS and only got in at Troy University after Osi Umenyiora told the Troy staff to provide him with a scholarship.  Remember, there are many diamonds in the rough out there and also much cut glass passing off as the Hope diamond.  I wouldn't be too concerned.

If we end up losing a bunch of people, then he cant be that bad.

Not surprised that this is going on with a coach who's only been here for about 2 weeks. Next year will be much better
