This years class is shaping up to be more like our Conf USA years

i was thinking the same thing....we time traveled back to the recruiting days of C-USA....so disappointing

I must have missed the CUSA years where we had a 10+ 3 star recruits.

Maybe its the three conference USA teams well ahead of us. Im not talking about number,s but averages as well. Its tough this year, Hopefully we can see some better results next year when we dont have this turnover.

Skip Holtz gets 1 free year, but this recruiting class is turning out to be garbage. Hes let every big recruit we had get away, while bringing no new ones in.

We can give him a pass this 1 year, but if we dont see 4 star guys coming here next year, it will confirm that hes a bad recruiter, something that was the biggest knock on him before coming here.

You can win c-doa with mediocre talent, but thats not going to fly in the big east.

Hard to keep some players when the coach that was recruiting them for years is no longer with the program.

Yeah, tons of bad press right in the middle of recruiting season doesn't help.  If I were a potential recruit I'd be a little weary of a program in transition.  If we have a good season things should pick up next year.

Coach Holtz has lost only 2 recruits thus far (Chandler and Bellamy).If he can keep all the remaining commits together including Carnes and get a few more this class is not going to be so bad. Furthermore, if reports are correct about Jamius Gunsby; that would be huge!This guy could be a steal! Also NEED to get another WR!
