Always worry about grades if a kid has low offers but big talent.

There was another pinellas kid a few years back who was lightly recruited until late and USF offered and he committed.  At which time several other schools came calling.  The kid flipped to Ole Miss.  Dexter McCluster.

I don't know how good this kid is, but POY in pinellas has to have some talent.

I didnt know McCluster was commited to USF...wonder how our offense would have differed the past few years with him on our side

Yep.  McCluster when he committed (November of his sneior year?) was not even in the scout or rivals databases.  He flips to Ole Miss and ends up a 3 star.  From what I have heard losing him was a heartbreaker for the staff.  Super talented, under the radar guy.

Our offense has not had a real explosive playmaker outside of the QB position for a while.  We had Ean Randolph but he's not what McCluster is.

Bench Max:260

Squat Max:410

Vertical:34 inches

GPA:2.6

SAT:1100

With an 1100 on the SAT he should get in to most schools. His GPA is not good but it is acceptable considering his SAT. He should qualify with the NCAA. Seems exactly like Lindsay Lamar on tape although I think Lamar looked better.

I didnt know USF had Dexter McCluster. Our offense would have been fun to watch. But at with the old coaching staff, they would have probably used him wrong anyhow.

If he qualify academically, give him a shot. You cant never have enough speed!!

This kid is a stud. He single handidly beat us this year, our only regular season loss. He can make a huge impact in our special teams early, and if he puts on a lil weight, offensively as well!

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
