Lakewood RB Bernard Reedy has a new program interested, and it just happens to be the one located closest to home.

According to Reedy’s father, USF coaches recently stopped by Lakewood to check Reedy out and get more information. As of yet, the Bulls have not offered.

Toledo and Western Kentucky, however, have, and Reedy remains high on both. He already has visited Toledo and will trip to Western Kentucky this weekend. Toledo coach Tim Beckman will make an in-home visit with Reedy later today.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Reedy could play either RB or WR in college. As a senior, he rushed for more than 1,000 yards and was the Times’ Offensive Player of the Year in Pinellas County.

This kid can play!  I saw him in person this year and I was impressed.

Always worry about grades if a kid has low offers but big talent.

There was another pinellas kid a few years back who was lightly recruited until late and USF offered and he committed.  At which time several other schools came calling.  The kid flipped to Ole Miss.  Dexter McCluster.

I don't know how good this kid is, but POY in pinellas has to have some talent.

What I don't get is how the flip is WKU in on so many guys we are going after?  It seems like everywhere I look an extremely talented kid wants to play for the **** hilltoppers and their ugly ass mascot

Willie Taggart the new WKU coach.  I don't think he'll get many of the more talented ones to commit there, but he'll probably get a few to visit because they like him.
