Looking at Past Great Punters in USF History

Umholtz was an All American or Honorable Mention.  That guy could flat out punt.  By far our best ever.  The thing I remember most from Brandon Baker was he led us in passing in the Car Care Bowl .  That is how sad our offense was in that game.  We faked a punt and netted 47 yards or so.  Alvarado was good, but could have been better.  His Sophomore season was really good, but the last couple of years weren't very good.  This season especially was a subpar season for Delbert.

Tony Umholtz, talk about a throwback.  Kid was good.

True.  Just ask the Oakland Raiders of the '70's about Ray Guy.  Seems like he never had a bad punt.  If your offense is struggling, a good punter can really help out the defense.
