In regards to football, until USF builds a winning tradition, most Florida kids would rather play two years at UF than four years at USF.  With our basketball team being what it is, can you blame the kid?

It wouldn't have made a difference if Ingram got to play football at UF anyway. The Sheriff would work his voodoo magic. Look what happened to Brent Schaeffer, he played and broke his collarbone and is back on the bench.  ;D

Midget transferring still doesn't help him very much... he'll still have to wait for leak to finish, and then UF will probably have many more top QB prospects coming in, and one will probably start as a freshmen the year leak leaves.

Leak was Zook's boy so he may opt out early. Plus, you don't who's coming in but they may not be as good a recruiter as the Zooker. Corny may be in a pretty good spot ........... Midgett too if he stopped and thought about it.

Let's not forget we're talkng about a true freshman playing basketball here. How many true freshmen get tons of minutes on a team that is not in rebuilding mode?

Mistake or not-- the outcome has plenty of twists and turns remaining for this young guy. I'll reserve judgement on his UF future for the future. I agree he would be a star at USF possibly-- but it is his decision so maybe we should just let it go already.

he would have had his chance here in both bball and football, what he did with it would have been his choice. so let him sit and wait hope he gets his shot...sometime!

Don't think Leak will opt out early.  He is just not ready for the next level. He will need at least 1 more year.  1 more yr for ingram on the bench.

Leak has to stay one more year, I'm pretty sure he was only a sophmore this year and I don't think he's ready to take the Clarett challenge yet.
